Sewing Saturdays "Havana Skirt Collection"

The “Havana Skirt Collection ” is a collection of skirts that take many shapes and are completely customizable!!!

Foundation Concepts in this Pattern: Classic “Slant” Pocket Construction, Under stitching, Darts, Zippers, Gathering Stitches, and a double rolled “T-Shirt Hem” (orTraditional Blind Hem). 

Fabrics for this pattern should be woven fabrics with little to no stretch. Including chiffon, crepe, denim, linen, satin and silk. Should you choose to use something with stretch you will need to adjust for sizing. You may also need stretch interfacing in your waistband if your material is very flimsy. You will need coordinating thread for the machine and serger if desired for seam finishing. You will also need a 12-14” Zipper in the color of your choice for the closure of this Skirt.If you choose to use bias binding for the raw edge finishes you will need approx 3 packages.
